Deborah A. Jackson, an attorney
with over 25 years of
experience, has worked with
private and governmental
organizations as well as
community groups in a number of
capacities. She has served as
the Executive Director, of a
national organization of
lawyers, judges and law
students, and provided technical
assistance to members in the
areas of chapter development,
training programs and seminars,
and coordinated several
international conferences and
fact-finding delegations.
Ms. Jackson has extensive
experience preparing written
reports and legal documents,
strong negotiating skills, and
is a skilled mediator. She
speaks fluent Spanish and
traveled to countries in Europe,
Asia, Latin America, Africa, and
the Caribbean.
Ms. Jackson received her J.D.
from Rutgers The State
University of New Jersey-School
of Law; M.A. in Political
Science from Rutgers The State
University of New
Jersey-Graduate School; and B.
A. in History from Princeton
University. Ms. Jackson also has
a Graduate Certificate in
Managed Health Care from New
York Medical College, Graduate
School. Ms. Jackson is currently
a doctoral candidate in Policy
and Community Economic
Development at Southern New
Hampshire University’s School of
