Paulette Corbin has been a
Senior Executive, Board Member
and Business Leader for over 25
years. Her background spans
various leadership positions
with the world’s second largest
airline. Most recently, Ms.
Corbin held the position of
Senior Vice President, Delta Air
Lines, Inc. during the most
challenging period in Delta’s 76
year history. During this
period, she led a $1.16 Billion
operations unit with 14,000
globally distributed employees
through a period of rapid
change, bankruptcy and
successful restructuring.
From 2000 to 2004, Ms. Corbin
led 57 airports through the
events of 9/11/2001, resulting
security programs, airport
transformation programs and
integrated technologies which
improved safety and customer
service. She was recognized for
her operational design,
execution and leadership during
the SLC 2002 Winter Olympics,
where Delta Air Lines was the
primary transportation carrier
in and out of SLC.
In the leadership role at Delta
Express (1997-2000), Ms. Corbin
led an airline within an airline
and provided a differentiated
product from the main airline
product. During this period, she
was widely recognized for having
developed and implemented a set
of strategies that significantly
improved service, increased
productivity, turned around a
poor labor climate and improved
relationships with the business
community and general public.
She was named “One of the 200
Most Powerful Women in Aviation”
by Travel Agent magazine in 1998
and 1999.
Ms. Corbin started her career
with Delta Air Lines where she
held leadership positions of
increasing responsibility in
various divisions of the
company.
Ms. Corbin holds a BA degree
from Allegheny College and
completed the Darden School of
Business’ Program for
Extraordinary Leadership. Ms.
Corbin currently serves on the
Literacy Action Board and has
previously served on the
non-profit boards of UNICEF and
CADEF in Atlanta, GA. She is
married to Mark M. Corbin, and
both are passionate supporters
of Best Friends Animal Shelter
in Kanab, UT. |
